PRIVATE TRAINING
In these private one-on-one sessions, Tanja will assess your dog and put together a tailored action plan to achieve your goals, whether it’s basic obedience (Sit/Stay, Down/Stay, Place, Come/Recall) or behavior modification (lunging, barking, aggression, pulling, reacting to other dogs, etc.).
The initial session is comprised of a consultation, assessment, and hands-on training with you and your dog. Tanja will then work with you to develop a customized private training program to transform your dog. Please reach out directly for pricing.
BOARD & TRAIN PACKAGES
Our Board & Train programs are designed for you to leave your dog with Tanja, allowing her to work one-on-one, during multiple sessions per day. 2 WEEKS HUNDESCHULE | Puppy Primer
This package is perfect for puppies between 8 and 16 weeks old. During this bootcamp your pup will learn imprints on basic obedience, such as: sit, down, come, place, and other important indoor commands. Amongst others, we will also start your dog with potty and crate training, as well as addressing any nipping and chewing issues which are very common at that age.
This package includes a free hand-over session to facilitate a smooth transition.
2 WEEKS HUNDESCHULE | Basic on-Leash
This package is perfect for dogs or adolescents with minimal or no prior experience. This on-leash bootcamp includes basic obedience training, such as: sit, down, stay, come, place, and other important indoor commands. Your dog will also be taught how to walk on a leash, wait at doors, and to not jump on people.
This package includes a free hand-over session to facilitate a smooth transition.
4-6 WEEKS HUNDESCHULE - Advanced
In addition to the skills learned in the Basics On-Leash or Puppy Primer package, we will teach your dog more advanced versions of sit|stay, down|stay and other important every day commands. This package is perfect for owners who would like their companion to have a strong foundation of skills, both on and off-leash in a variety of environments as well as for dogs with more serious behavior issues such as aggression, anxiety, or severe leash reactivity. We will tailor the agenda and the length of this program based on the dogs individual needs and the owners goals.
This package includes a free hand-over session to facilitate a smooth transition.
DAY TRAINING
Your dog already knows certain commands but needs refreshers in certain areas? Leave your dog with us for the day while you get your chores done and let us work on behaviors you are struggling with. Your pup will get organized training/social and playtime in a fun environment.

About TANJA
Tanja Briechle's love for dogs began early: born and raised in a small town in Germany, she grew up in an environment where dogs freely enjoyed beautiful pastures & rolling hills. After intensive language studies at the Europa-Institute - fluent in German, English, French - Tanja enjoyed success in the corporate world, landing jobs in both Paris and London.
But her passion for dogs was calling.
In 2013, Tanja moved to Los Angeles and soon thereafter abandoned the corporate world, focussing 100% of her efforts on dog training. She started volunteering at a local rescue center and quickly landed a 4-year apprenticeship role with a highly regarded Los Angeles trainer. Tanja displayed a special talent for dealing with all types of dogs, including large & aggressive ones. She also became a leader for beginning and advanced group classes. These talents led her to several jobs on movie and television sets, including work as a stunt bite decoy on an episode of ABC’s Modern Family.
Tanja takes pride in her wide range of skills & talents: basic/advanced obedience, behavior modification, socialization, puppy training, fearful dogs, and competitive dog sports (Mondioring, IPO, PSA). Tanja is an accredited AKC Canine Good Citizen Trainer and Evaluator.
Tanja enjoys training her two personal dogs (a German Shepherd & Belgian Malinois) in her free time.
